Radical Adventure Riders-Atlanta x FBC-Atlanta Biking + Birding Overnight Trip

Schedule:

9AM - If you have signed up to bikepack with us, we will meet April 29 at 9AM outside the Grant Park parking garage at 759 Boulevard SE, Atlanta, GA 30308. We will leave promptly at 10AM. The route is friendly to those newer to bikepacking, approximately 20 miles and about 1,100 feet of climbing. You can find the route here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/37593780 

2PM - Arrive at campsite, bird a bit, chill, relax, campSunday, April 309AM: If you signed up only for birding, we will meet at Panola Mountain Nature Center parking lot. The address is Panola Mountain State Park Office and Visitor Center 2620 Georgia 155 SW, Stockbridge, GA. Please bring comfortable walking shoes, water, snacks, binoculars and/or field guides (if you have them). It is $5 for parking.

April 30

10AM – 12:30PM - Birding, on both paved and unpaved paths, is approximately 1.5 miles. More information about the birding route can be found here on Natural Atlas. Here is a trail map for Panola Mountain State Park. 1PM: Bike campers ride out. We will take the same route home, in reverse.
