Join Philly Queer Birders, Feminist Bird Club Philly, and @wissahickon.trails on Sunday, April 30th 8am-10am for a “behind the nets” bird banding demonstration at Willow Lake Farm! Participants will be able to watch the whole banding process from capture to release. This event is limited to 35 people, so please only register if you are certain you can attend. If/when capacity is reached, a waitlist will open and you will be contacted a few days beforehand if a spot has opened up.

Park behind the CVS at 7000 Butler Pike, Ambler, PA. Participants will walk a short distance to reach the banding site. Trails are flat with mowed grass surface, and the initial trail entrance has a step up. Chairs are welcome and we hope to see some spring migrants including warblers and other local songbirds! Bathrooms available at the CVS. We’re excited to see you there!
