Meet at the visitor center. Slow paced 3.1 mile loop (shorter option also available).
We’ll pause at the top which will be the perfect time for folks hoping for a shorter outing to head back (making it a 2 mile out and back).
Dress for changeable weather, yay Spring!
We have some binocs to share.
Trail Details:
This is a slow-paced loop: we’ll pause as often for bird viewing and anytime anyone needs a break.
We’ll begin at the visitor center then head East up the paved incline, Mountain View Trail. We’ll connect to the gravel trail Summit Lane. At the top of the incline, about a mile in, we’ll take an intentional pause and part ways with anyone wishing to return. From there we’ll complete the loop connecting portions of Medowland Lane, Forest Edge trail, Pipeline Lane, and Park Center Trail.
This 3.1 mile loop offers a variety of habitat for Spring Migration viewing.
