Seattle- April Bird Outing at Schmitz Preserve Park

  • Schmitz Preserve Park 5551 SW Admiral Way Seattle, Washington 98116 (map)

Join us for a late morning bird outing at Schmitz Preserve Park!

Please join us for our second bird walk of the year on Saturday, April 9th at Schmitz Preserve Park. We will meet at 10:00am at the trailhead entrance on the corner of SW Admiral Way and SW Stevens St.

The trails in the park include a mixture of flat, gravel pathways - as well as more narrow, dirt paths that include slopes and switchbacks. We will offer options for groups to bird along the flat paths or to travel into the trails. Please be prepared for the weather and we suggest bringing snacks and/or water.

All are welcome on this walk!!

*As we begin to host bird outings again, we want to make sure that we continue to take care of one another. Following with current health guidelines, masks are optional on this walk, but we encourage people to bring a mask for social interactions. This outing is limited to 30 people, and we will be breaking into two smaller groups. We also require that all participants follow our code of conduct.

Please reach out to feministbirdclubseattle@gmail.com if you have any questions.
