Sonoma County - Spring Birding at Riverfront Regional Park

Let’s go birding! Lots of exciting birds have been coming to stay through spring and summer and have been nesting in the area. Join us at Riverfront Regional Park in Healdsburg (on Southern Pomo land) to enjoy scenic views of a redwood grove, two lakes, the Russian River, and of course– the birds!

Some birds we might see (not guaranteed!) include Black-headed Grosbeaks, Ash-throated and Pacific-slope Flycatchers, Ospreys, Bullock’s Orioles, Warbling Vireos, California Thrashers, and Swainson’s Thrushes. Once in awhile, a Bald Eagle can be seen perched in a tree!
