Seattle - Discovery Park

Please join us for our May bird walk on Sunday, May 15th at 9:00am. We will be meeting in the Visitor Center East Parking Lot just outside the Discovery Park Environmental Learning Center.

The trails in the park include a mixture of well-maintained, gravel and dirt pathways - as well as more narrow, dirt paths that include slopes and switchbacks. We will offer options for groups to bird along the flat paths or to travel into the trails. Please be prepared for the weather and we suggest bringing snacks and/or water.

Whether you're new to birding or a seasoned songbird seeker, this will be a great opportunity to connect with our feathered friends and fellow feminists. All are welcome on this walk!

*It is important to us to make sure that we continue to take care of one another during our in-person events. We plan to follow current health guidelines. Masks are optional on this walk, but we encourage people to bring a mask for social interactions. This outing is limited to 30 people, and we will be breaking into smaller groups. We also require that all participants follow our code of conduct.

Please reach out to feministbirdclubseattle@gmail.com if you have any questions.
