Richmond - Birding at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

FBC RVA is so excited to be hosting a birding event at @lewisginter on Sunday, Nov. 20th at 9am! We will meander the garden paths in search of birds until around 11am.

Lewis Ginter is generously allowing our attendees to enter for FREE. All are welcome to join, but please register because we are capping the event at 25. Only those that register will be able to enter with the group. If you register and end up unable to attend, please let us know so we can give that space to someone else. Priority registration for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC, and women - please allow space for folks to register first.

If the sign up form is full, please email us at fbc.richmondva@gmail.com to be added to the waiting list.PLEASE ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 9am! We must enter as a group and if you are not with us at that time, you will not be able to get in. We will enter the building at 9:05am.If you don't have a car and need a ride from Richmond, send us an email and we will help you find transportation.

Accessibility Information:

We will be going about 1-1.5 miles at a very leisurely pace on flat, paved trails with plenty of stops. There are benches throughout the garden to rest on and restroom facilities available at multiple locations. Park in parking lot A or B and we will meet in front of the Robins Visitor Center. Please come to the entrance between lots A and B and NOT the entrance by lot B.
