Join us this Sunday in Forest Hill Park!

We will be walking from the large parking lot at the intersection of 42nd St & New Kent Ave down to the lake.

We’ll provide a few pairs of extra binoculars and field guides if you don't have your own to use. Any and all are welcome to join us - no experience necessary!

Look for us at the first picnic shelter when you pull into the large parking area. If you arrive after 8:30am and don't see us in the parking lot, head down the paved hill until you run into us. We'll go clockwise around the lake. The south of the James farmers market will be set up in the parking lot afterward too!

Accessibility Info: We will be walking about 1 mile at a very leisurely pace on pavement from the parking lot in Forest Hill Park down a short but steep hill around the flat lake and back up the steep hill. There are bathrooms available near the parking area.

There are opportunities to sit and rest on multiple benches.
