We welcome both members of the Queer community and friends of the rainbow for this event. We will meet at the pagoda next to the parking lot at 6:30pm before walking a gentle ½ mile loop around the pond through black cottonwood and restored native habitat. There will be an optional rainbow scavenger hunt activity where we will try to find a bird for each color of the rainbow. We are hoping to see kingfishers, ducklings, swifts, swallows, and so much more.
This event is all ages and as always, beginner birders are welcome and celebrated.
