Join Feminist Bird Club leaders Molly Adams and Meghadeepa Maity in this 5-day retreat as they approach the pursuit of bird-joy through the unique lenses of resistance, connection, liberation, reciprocity, and healing. We explore the major themes in the book through a diversity of practices, including mindful birding, community reflection, and creative expression. This workshop will take place at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York where Molly and Meghadeepa are teaching as independent contractors and this is not a Feminist Bird Club hosted event.
Please note: This workshop aims to center people who are disabled, Black, Brown, and Indigenous and/or members of the LGBTQIA+ communities —and the instructors also share many of these identities. To increase equitable access to this course, we will offer an ongoing tuition discount and an early registration period for historically marginalized participants. If you share one or more of the mentioned identities, we invite you to use the code BIRDING in the promo area of the registration process for the 10% off.
Scholarships: Feminist Bird Club is also sponsoring a limited number of scholarships for members of these communities. Please apply using this google form by May 14th.
