Join us at Shirley Chisholm State Park for Fall Birding on Saturday, November 18th at 9am. We will meet at the end of the parking lot on the Pennsylvania Avenue side. We will then bird on the Pennsylvania Avenue side searching for raptors, sparrows, and some winter arrivals of waterfowl. Registration is required.
The first portion of this outing will take place on flat ground that is either gravel or paved. The end of the outing will take us onto the gravel/dirt trails that take us up and down some hills, some of which have a moderate incline/decline. Some benches/picnic tables may be available along our route. Port-a-pottys are available upon arrival, including some larger accessible stalls. Public transit options include the BM2, BM3, B82, and B83 busses, stopping closest to the Pennsylvania Ave Entrance to the park. Parking is available in the park's lot.
