Join us on Sunday, August 20 at 9:00am as we search for birds at Governor Nelson State Park.Governor Nelson tends to be one of the first places migrating warblers begin to show in the fall! In addition to warblers, we’ll search for other woodland species like vireos and cuckoos.

Governor Nelson is a state park which has an entry fee of $8 if you do not have an admission sticker on your vehicle. If this poses a financial barrier for you and you would like to attend, please reach out to us at feministbirdclubwi@gmail.com.

Everyone is welcome at our events, no birding experience required!

Directions and Parking: We’ll meet at the parking lot for the pet swim area. There is a sign directing you to this parking area as you enter the park. It is a large, paved parking lot with plenty of spaces. There is accessible parking available. Click here for a Google Maps pin.
